This project challenged me to think beyond just building a UI and focus on creating a production-style application with a complete creator workflow. ✨ What I've built 🎥 Video upload, processing & streaming with Mux 🤖 AI-powered title generation 📝 AI-generated video descriptions 🖼 AI-generated thumbnails 👤 Creator Studio Dashboard 🔐 Secure authentication with Clerk 💬 Nested comments & replies ❤️ Like / Dislike reactions 📺 Channel subscriptions 📂 Playlists 🔍 Search functionality 📱 Fully responsive design ⚡ AI-assisted creator workflow from Upload → Generate → Publish 🛠 Tech Stack • Next.js 16 • React • TypeScript • Tailwind CSS • shadcn/ui • tRPC • Drizzle ORM • PostgreSQL • Clerk Authentication • UploadThing • Mux • OpenRouter AI • Leonardo AI • Upstash 💡 What I learned Building this project taught me much more than frontend development. I gained hands-on experience with: ✅ Full-stack architecture ✅ Authentication & authorization ✅ Database design with Drizzle ORM ✅ Type-safe APIs using tRPC ✅ AI integration ✅ Secure media upload & video streaming ✅ Scalable project organization ✅ Building a polished creator experience One of the biggest challenges was connecting AI-powered content generation with the publishing workflow while keeping everything intuitive and responsive. 🚀 What's next? This project is still under active development.
